Oculus Photo is owned and operated by Adam Sanchez, a seasoned photographer with over 20 years of experience and thousands of shoots under his belt, including over 1,000 properties shot. Adam’s passion for photography began at 15, quickly evolving into a lifelong pursuit. He went on to earn a degree in Art with an emphasis on photography from Sonoma State University, laying the foundation for his career.

    Starting as a freelance photographer, Adam captured dynamic surf photography, portraiture, and events before landing a full-time position at Palisades Ski Resort in Lake Tahoe. He then tackled preschool portrait photography before transitioning to school photography, documenting students and staff across the Bay Area.

    His career later expanded into commercial photography when he joined KindPeoples, Santa Cruz’s largest cannabis dispensary. There, he was responsible for high-volume product photography, creative social media content, and eye-catching lifestyle ads.

    Now based in Portland, Oregon, Adam has returned to his freelance roots, specializing in high-end real estate photography. With a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, he delivers striking visuals that bring spaces to life.
